The Darning & Embroidery Foot can be used for free-motion quilting, thread painting, monograms, and even for repairing torn areas.This foot is one of the most versatile sewing accessories in your sewing room.

TIP: To create texture try free-motion sewing. To set up free motion sewing, cover (or lower) the feed dogs with the Darning Plate from the accessory compartment. Remove the presser foot and shank, then attach the Darning/Embroidery Foot. Select a straight stitch and begin making circular motions on the fabric until it is completely filled in. Do not worry if the stitches are not uniform. Cross the thread lines and just have fun filling in the space. Remember that once the feed dogs are covered (or lowered) you control where the fabric goes and at what rate of speed. Try practicing on a scrap of fabric to get more comfortable!

The Bias Binding Foot is used to bind raw edges with bias binding that has been pre-folded or bias you have prepared yourself. It has a small funnel which folds and guides the binding over the fabric edge before it reaches the needle.

The Cording Foot is mainly used to add surface embellishment to fabrics, but it has some practical uses, too. This foot has a slotted guide on the top which holds up to three separate lightweight yarns or cords. The cords are held by the foot, while you stitch them to the fabric. You can use one…two…or three holes, depending on the effect you want. You’ll have fun experimenting with different decorative stitches and combinations of cords!

Singer All Purpose Foot (zig zag)

The all-purpose foot is used for general sewing on most types of fabric. The all-purpose foot may also be used for elastic insertion and basic mending.
The wide needle slot allows for sewing of stitches up to 7mm in width.

The button sewing foot is used to easily attach buttons by machine. The foot securely holds the button in place, while still providing a clear view of the stitching area. In addition, the horseshoe shaped rubberized grip keeps the button from slipping out of place. The Button Sewing Foot can also be used to attach ribbons, to tack trims in place and even sew on hook and eye closures. Before sewing with the machine, hand wind the needle to each button hole to make sure you have it in the right place.

The Gathering Foot is used to form soft gathers in fabric. You can gather a singer layer of fabric, or you can join a gathered fabric to a second, flat fabric, or you can join a gathered fabric to a second, flat fabric simultaneously. The Gathering Foot works best with softer, lightweight fabrics. For gathering light to medium fabrics, a ruffler attachment is recommended.
