The Walking or Even Feed Foot is helpful when sewing several layers of fabric together. Most often used when quilting, The Walking or Even Feed Foot easily “walks” over the fabric layers. This is because the foot has its own set of feed dogs that work in conjunction with the machine’s feeding system. The upper feeding mechanism “pulls” the top fabric at the same rate that the machine’s feed dogs are pulling the bottom fabric.
This helps to keep the layers together, prevents shifting and bunching of the top layer. The Walking or Even Feed Foot is also great for matching plaids or stripes and sewing with nap or pile.

The Side Cutter Attachment trims fabric while you sew a seam. Sew seams and seam finishes simultaneously. Side Cutter gives garments a professional finish. Just use the ZigZag or Overedge Stitch to complete your look!

For use with low-shank sewing machines, including brands Singer, Brother, Janome & Elna.

Will work on machines with a stitch width of 7mm.

The Rolled Hem Foot, sometimes also known as the narrow hem foot, is used to sew a very narrow hem. The foot folds the raw edge of your fabric under just before it passes under the needle. For garment, home decor or any type of sewing, the rolled hem foot provides a professional looking finish.

The Universal Teflon (non-stick) foot is used to sew fabrics such as leather, plastic, vinyl and oilcloth. The slick surface on the Non-Stick Foot’s underside allows for effortless glide on those tricky fabrics. Set the sewing machine to a medium-long straight stitch for best results. Universal Invisible / Concealed Zipper Foot

This Universal Piping foot has two groves on base of foot to guide piping cord between fabric and is ideal for edge decoration on bags, cushions, soft furnishings etc.

The design of this Universal Straight Stitch Foot improves contact with the feed dogs resulting in more accurate and consistent feed which creates a higher quality straight stitch. Also used for straight stitch applications using fine or lighter weight fabrics where a wide center foot opening might cause the fabric to be pulled into the bobbin area.

The Overcasting Edge Foot will give you a similar finish to that of an Over locker. It takes the stitches over the edge of the fabric with the small bar in the center of the foot which wraps the thread around the edge of the fabric as you sew.
Your machine may have some overcasting stitches already. Consult your machine manual for which stitches are for overcasting. Or alternatively you can use a zig zag stitch. When using a Zig Zag stitch make sure that the needle does not hit the bar in the center.

The Gathering Foot is used to form soft gathers in fabric. You can gather a singer layer of fabric, or you can join a gathered fabric to a second, flat fabric, or you can join a gathered fabric to a second, flat fabric simultaneously. The Gathering Foot works best with softer, lightweight fabrics. For gathering light to medium fabrics, a ruffler attachment is recommended.

The Darning & Embroidery Foot can be used for free-motion quilting, thread painting, monograms, and even for repairing torn areas.This foot is one of the most versatile sewing accessories in your sewing room.

TIP: To create texture try free-motion sewing. To set up free motion sewing, cover (or lower) the feed dogs with the Darning Plate from the accessory compartment. Remove the presser foot and shank, then attach the Darning/Embroidery Foot. Select a straight stitch and begin making circular motions on the fabric until it is completely filled in. Do not worry if the stitches are not uniform. Cross the thread lines and just have fun filling in the space. Remember that once the feed dogs are covered (or lowered) you control where the fabric goes and at what rate of speed. Try practicing on a scrap of fabric to get more comfortable!

On most sewing machine models, the Zipper Foot can be attached to the presser foot holder on either the right or left side. Depending on the type of zipper insertion, both sides may be used. For more information on the Zipper Foot for your machine model, refer to your sewing machine manual.

There are many zipper applications: lapped zipper, fly front zipper, and centered zipper.
