The Singer 4432 Heavy Duty is a great machine for general sewing. It is the perfect machine if you would like to make clothing but don't need 100's of fancy stitch types. It does all the basics so well and is the closest thing to an industrial machine on the domestic market. This machine is made for heavy fabrics and will do an immaculate job of Jean hems and other heavy jobs. The benefits of the 4432 over the 4411 are that it has an easy to use 1-step buttonhole, an automatic needle threader and an extra 21 stitch types.
