Singer Invisible Zipper Foot

Zippers are incredibly handy for closing garments, accessories and much more. They may look out of place, however, on elegant skirts or glamorous evening wear made of exquisite materials. There’s a simple way of dealing with this little problem: A special insertion method lets you sew an almost invisible zipper. Thanks to the Singer special presser foot and an invisible-type zipper it’s extremely fast and easy to give your fashions a professional *couture* finish.

Singer Walking foot

The Walking or Even Feed Foot is helpful when sewing several layers of fabric together. Most often used when quilting, The Walking or Even Feed Foot easily “walks” over the fabric layers. This is because the foot has its own set of feed dogs that work in conjunction with the machine’s feeding system. The upper feeding mechanism “pulls” the top fabric at the same rate that the machine’s feed dogs are pulling the bottom fabric.
This helps to keep the layers together, prevents shifting and bunching of the top layer. The Walking or Even Feed Foot is also great for matching plaids or stripes and sewing with nap or pile.

Fits: Singer Low Shank Machines such as the following models: 2250, 3221, 4411, 4423, 4432, 8768, 9100, 9960, Featherweight C240

Singer Pintuck Foot Snap-on Presser (For 7mm Plate 7 Groove)

The Pintuck Foot is a special foot used to create raised ‘tucks’ in the fabric. Traditionally, this technique was used to embellish heirloom garments but today you can often see pintucks on table or bed linens and fashion items. The Pintuck Foot works in conjunction with a narrow twin needle. The best results come from light weight fabrics such as batiste, silk and organdy. This foot has a series of evenly spaced grooves on the underside, which not only keep the tucks from being flattened as each row is sewn, but they ensure that each row sews perfectly parallel to the last. After the first tuck is sewn, the grooves are used as guides for the subsequent rows of stitching.
