The Singer 4411 Heavy Duty is a great machine for general sewing. It is the perfect machine if you would like to make clothing but don't need 100's of fancy stitch types. It does all the basics so well and is the closest thing to an industrial machine on the domestic market. This machine is made for heavy fabrics and will do an immaculate job of Jean hems and other heavy jobs. The Air Thread 2000D Professional is our first air thread overlocker and the easiest Janome overlocker to thread. Janome’s push and blow type air threading system is an industry first. When threading the loopers, the thread is blown down the threading channel and through the eye of the looper. The needles are just as easy to thread, using the built-in needle threader which slides left and right, allowing the user to thread the required needle. Sewing speciality fabrics is a breeze, the 8-piece feed dog allows fabric to smoothly feed under the the sewing foot, plus grooves have been added to the sewing foot to help control challenging or slippery fabrics during stitching. The 5-level foot pressure dial is located on the top left of the overlocker. Integrating the stitch length and differential dials makes for easy and perfect adjustment for the fabric being sewn, whether sewing stretch to lightweight woven fabric. Adjusting the cutting width or dropping the upper knife, is all easily accessed in the one place, open the front cover and just the turn of a dial lowers the upper knife, turn again to re-engage. Safety, is important, the overlocker will not operate if, any covers are open, the sewing foot is raised or if the air thread mechanism is engaged. Another industry first is two ball bearing on the main shaft which provide low torque, making this overlocker powerful and stable when operating, even at high speeds. All of these features are specially designed to make this overlocker the easiest to use on the market today.

Janome 780DC Sewing Machine

The Janome Sewist 780DC is a simple to use, fully computerized sewing machine that is packed with time saving features.

This machine has 80 stitches, for many various sewing applications.  Direct stitch selection is available for 20 stitches, the other 60 stitches are pictured on the easy access slide out stitch charts.  When a stitch is selected the LCD screen shows the selected stitch, recommended foot, default stitch width and length, which you can change to suit your requirements. The Sewist 780DC also offers a choice of 3 styles of one-step buttonholes.

Special features include the automatic thread cutter, when activated trims the top and bobbin thread at the same time, pulling the top thread to the underside of the fabric.  Stitch elongation on satin stitches allows the stitch pattern to be elongated of up to 5 times the default stitch length; easy set bobbin system; auto bobbin winder system; built-in needle threader; needle up/down button; and an auto-lock stitch feature for precision locking off of stitches and patterns. The start/stop button allows you to sew without a foot control.
